Suitable for:
> All
article and quality features : > Perfect
fit thanks to precision manufacturing, integrated fastening points
> Unpainted. Paint-friendly, cleanly processed surface structure
> Made from high-quality GRP . Flexible, unbreakable and shatterproof
Assembly Note:
> The original bonnet remains as the basis. Only the frame of the factory grille is cut away from the original bonnet (only cut off to the left and right of the grill, done). The RDX bonnet trim is then glued to the original bonnet using the special adhesive provided. The bonnet cladding is full-surface, covers the entire bonnet and has an "evil eye" integrated in the new A8 look.
> Suitable for vehicles with and without headlamp cleaning systems.
> The LED daytime running lights from the current Audi S6 can be fitted.
Advantages compared to bumpers that require a complete GRP bonnet:
> The factory bonnet is retained and does not have to be dismantled, so it does not have to be adjusted to the gap dimensions.
> You save on the purchase of parts, since the RDX front bumper includes the bonnet cladding, there is no need to buy an additional bonnet.
> With complete GRP engine hoods, the enormous engine heat can quickly cause bubbles to form. In this case, sanding, filling and painting would be necessary.
> Complete GRP engine hoods also require painting the inside, which significantly increases the painting costs.
> For complete GRP- Bonnets often cannot take over all or none of the interior parts of the original bonnet, which in addition to the technical disadvantages also results in visual disadvantages.
> Result: When converting in connection with a complete GRP bonnet, you usually get more expensive both in terms of purchase and conversion, although it is probably the poorer quality of the conversion.
